Flavored Marshmallow Cut Outs

During the cold, cabin-fever-y days of January, we're always looking for little ways to brighten our day! Making these fun marshmallows is just what we need some days!

This is the most simple way I've found to make cute flavored marshmallows.

Get a container of whipped topping and let it thaw out a bit.

Then spread it out in a pan.

Next add some sprinkles or crushed peppermints

And fold it in.

Put the pan in the freezer and let freeze until it gets nice and hard.

ree

Once hard, break out your favorite cookie cutter shapes.

When cutting through, wiggle it a bit so that the filling stays in the cutter and you can just pop in on top of your cocoa with your finger.

Add to cocoa for a cute and festive look!

My kids also enjoyed just scooping it out by the spoonful and adding extra sprinkles.

Marshmallow Polar Bears

New to our marshmallow repertoire this year, is this fun little polar bear marshmallow topper!

(Inspired by the ones we saw on Mom Endeavors)

You just need 3 different sizes of marshmallows, marshmallow flush, candy eyes, and M&M's!

ree

We had candy eyes left over from these treats at Halloween so it was a fun way to use up the rest of them!

Take your biggest marshmallow and use that as you face base, then take one of the campfire marshmallows and cut it in half for the snout. It should be sticky enough that you can apply it to the base without fluff. Next add some fluff to the backs of your candy eyes and apply above the snout. Apply fluff to the M side of a brown M&M and add as the nose. Finally, add fluff to mini marshmallows and apply as ears!

This one is definitely the boys' new favorite hot cocoa topper!

Mamas love to enjoy it, too. ;)
